About EarthTech

Earthtech, based on the Sunshine Coast, started off as a global competition for youth led and impact focused innovative solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development
Goals.

The EarthTech Challenge, which had over 855+ international submissions, culminated in a 3 day summit on MakePeace Island Richard Brandson’s Australian home on the Sunshine Coast,
where 10 of the top teams where invited for the final stage of the competition, where the winner, Safewheel was announced.

The reaction from the global competition highlighted the need for further support and programs around the identification, support and scaling high-impact, youth-focused grassroots innovations
that help achieve the Global Goals, with a focus on emerging markets.

To this end, Earthtech has developed three pathways; innovation data, events management (Together In Action) and professional services firm (Impact Engine).
