04 Mar A personal thank you
A personal thank you to ALL our supporters from our co-founders Ant and Brian
FROM THE #EARTHTECH TEAM A BIG THANKYOU. WE REALLY APPRECIATE IT.
The EarthTech Challenge was developed to identify and support young innovators and changemakers with ideas to address and solve some of the world’s biggest social and environmental challenges. The 6-week online program saw 855 registered participants and 150 submissions participate.
Because of our mentors, judges and amazing supporters, 10 finalist teams, all addressing the United Nations Global Goals travelled from across the world to participate in a 3-day summit held on Noosa’s Makepeace Island, Richard Branson’s Australian home.
While at the summit leading experts, investors, business leaders and academics mentored our youth finalists from Uganda, Nigeria, India, Philippines, Australia and Bangladesh and supported their innovative emergency and sustainable housing, waste management, and medical device solutions.
Our team and supporters come from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and their unique touches, experiences and conscious decisions have not only helped build a movement, but they also helped develop a core part of the EarthTech philosophy. We are family, and our dream to MAKE IMPACT on the Global Goals would not be possible without everyone’s support. Thank you.
As one of our teams from Barcelona recently said, ‘I am sure that in 20 years we will continue explaining this experience and I hope that is to tell the beginning of the story. It is incredible to know that there are people as passionate around the world as you are and we will never forget that together we can change the world’.
